Facility & Unit Overview

• Acute and skilled care facility with 44 beds on the Medical Surgical floor
• Level II Trauma Center
• Patient population: all ages
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
• Unit includes a 10-bed ICU, 12-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, 12-bed Acute Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit, Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR Suites, two Endoscopy Suites, and a 13-bay Emergency Room

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Medical Surgical (Med Surg)
• Number of openings: 1
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend hours: 24
• Call requirements: As needed; must arrive within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in
• Float requirements: As needed
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear or hoodies

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS, HWC
• Must be professional in demeanor

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
