Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

Location

Denver, Colorado

Employment Type

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

7 AM to 5 PM
36 hours per week
On-call required on weekends (approximately 8-12 calls per 8-week period)
30-minute response time required when on-call
No set schedules after initial shift scheduling; self-scheduling available

Unit Information

Operating Room with 16 beds
Located on the 2nd floor, main building
Equipment includes DaVinci Robotics
Electronic Medical Records system: Meditech / CPN

Typical Procedures

Total joint and spine surgeries
Kidney and liver transplants
Robotics-assisted surgeries
Vascular, ENT, and plastic surgeries

Required Qualifications

Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
BLS certification
CST or NBSTA certification
DORA certification
De-Escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

Transplant surgery experience
Spine surgery experience
Prior experience with Meditech EMR

This role offers exposure to advanced surgical technology and a variety of complex procedures in a busy OR setting. The team supports self-scheduling after initial orientation, providing flexibility.
