Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Tallahassee, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (10-hour shifts with possible overtime)
Shift: Day (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Schedule Details:

No call, nights, weekends, or holidays required

Unit Overview

Orthopedic Outpatient Surgery Center specializing in all orthopedic surgeries and spine surgery, including robotic total joint replacement
6 OR rooms with a 1:1 patient-to-RN ratio
Staffing includes 1 OR RN and 1 scrub tech per room
Documentation system is paper-based
Procedures performed: Hand, foot & ankle, sports medicine, total joint replacement, spine surgery, and pain procedures
Scrubs provided by the center

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience with Orthopedics
