Unit and Patient Population

Labor & Delivery, LDRP unit with 24 beds
Patient population includes neonates and adults
Patient ratios typically 1:6 (census ranges from 3 to 24 patients)

Shift and Hours

Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (four 12-hour shifts per week)
Self-scheduling
48 guaranteed hours weekly
Call requirements apply

Required Certifications

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred
AWHONN Intermediate – Preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in LDRP (Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum) and postpartum care
Completion of at least one travel assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
