Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (day shift)

Job Summary

Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the patient population served on assigned units.
Ensure quality care is provided efficiently and safely, consistent with unit standards.
Demonstrate professionalism and respect toward staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Perform Point of Care testing procedures as needed.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Licenses & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
