Work Schedule
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
- Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (day shift)
Job Summary
- Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the patient population served on assigned units.
- Ensure quality care is provided efficiently and safely, consistent with unit standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect toward staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
