Unit and Schedule

Unit: Neuro Progressive Care Unit, 5th floor
Unit Size: 20 beds, 5:1 patient ratio
Shift: 7p-7a
Call Requirement: No
Specialty: PCU, Neuro Medical Strokes, Neuro-ortho surgeries, overflow telemetry and medical patients
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
Common Diagnoses/Treatment: Stable post-stroke patients, stable neuro surgery patients, telemetry patients, medical patients
Float Requirements: Medical, Telemetry

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
2 years of Neuro PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year

Additional Information

Orientation: Travelers must start on either November 16 or December 7, 2026.
Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel placement.
