Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-timers accepted)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Daily Caseload: 8-12 procedures
- Types of Procedures:
- Coronary Artery Disease (diagnostic and intervention)
- Peripheral Vascular Disease (diagnostic and intervention)
- Cardiac Arrhythmias
- Permanent pacemakers
- Call Requirement: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: No
- Floating Requirement: No
- Block Schedule: Will consider
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Orientation: 30 hours
- Pending State License: Candidates with pending Fluoro permits will be considered if already applied for at submission
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Required Certifications
- ARRT* (Note: RCIS not accepted)
- Fluoroscopy Permit
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and Health Documents:
- TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID-19 vaccination or declination
- Respirator Fit Testing (Fit Mask) required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024, updated annually
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors)
- Skills Checklist updated annually as applicable
Training & Competency Requirements
- Completion of Providence WorkRamp modules as assigned (Core, Specialty, Regional, and Annual Regulatory modules)
- Epic training modules completion required
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Color Blind Testing if required by unit
- Competency Exams as applicable by specialty
Additional Notes
- Facility may require approval of Return to Office (RTO) at time of submission
- Radiation badges issued by facility (not required to be provided by candidate)
- Float Policy Acknowledgement may be required; candidate may be asked to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance
- Candidates with pending Fluoro permits must have applied prior to submission
- Locals are accepted for this position
