Job Details
- Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) in Home Health
- Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday, Monday-Friday options available
- Local candidates are welcome
- Home Health experience preferred but candidates without Home Health experience will be considered
- California OT license preferred; candidates with a pending CA license who have applied may be accepted
- OASIS experience is required
- Hours are based on completed visits (25 visits = 40 hours); hours guaranteed if 25 or more visits are completed
- COVID vaccination exemptions permitted
- Mileage reimbursement follows IRS standard rates
Experience Requirements
- Specialty Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; Home Health experience preferred but not mandatory

Certifications & Licenses Required
- California OT License (preferred; pending license acceptable if application submitted)
- OASIS experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Instructor or Provider acceptable, required for all
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - as applicable
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - as applicable
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - as applicable
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) - as applicable
- State License Verification (primary source online verification required)
- National Tech Certification Verification as applicable (NBCOT not required for OTs)
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Valid Passport copy before start
- I9 Attestation
- Background Check (7-year search, nationwide, sex offender registry)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks (annual)
- Photo for badge (passport style)
- Personal or Auto Insurance with current expiration dates
- Auto Registration with current expiration dates
- Signed acknowledgments for training content and hand hygiene policy
- Physical Exam within 12 months of start
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within past 10 years, no declinations accepted)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (with special rules for past positives)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of titer or 2 MMR doses for candidates born 1957 or later)
- Hepatitis B (titer or vaccine series; declination accepted if within 1 year)
- Varicella (titer, 2 vaccines, or history of chickenpox; no declinations accepted)
- Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year (instant drug screen acceptable)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination (required year-round)
- COVID Vaccination proof or Medical/Religious exemption required prior to start
