Job Overview

• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Onsite: 100% onsite
• Call: Shared call coverage, including weekday evenings and weekend coverage

Role Summary

• Perform general radiographic imaging in the department and with mobile x-ray units
• Assist with fluoroscopy
• Assist in teaching radiology students
• Prepare charge slips and other required records
• Support specialized interventional radiology procedures under supervision

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Illinois
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• ARRT
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Illinois Radiography Accreditation

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of equipment used in Interventional Radiology
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly and accurately to problem situations

• Driver’s license or state ID required
• 2 references required
• Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment
• Employment gaps longer than 30 days must be explained
• Skills checklist required for the traveler’s unit and any units floated to
• Work history verification covering 7 years of employment
• Background check required
• Drug screen required
• Physical exam required
• Fit mask testing required
• TB screening required
• Tdap required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
• Facility orientation modules must be completed before start
• Photo for badge required

Schedule Notes

• Weekday call runs from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following day
• Weekend call runs from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Call is shared with other techs
