Required Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as an RN in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting and triage setting
• Active RN license
• EPIC experience

Key Responsibilities

• Telephone triage
• Patient assessment, including vital signs, history, allergies, and symptom review
• Cardiac-related assessment and response, including arrhythmia interpretation, chest pain, hypertension, CPR, AED use, and oxygen administration
• Patient education on lifestyle and medication adherence
• Quality improvement collaboration

Clinical Setting

• Outpatient heart and vascular clinic serving cardiology patients preparing for or recovering from procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PCI/stent placement, EP procedures, structural heart procedures, cardioversions, and vascular/interventional studies

• Position is to cover a caregiver on leave
