Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MICU (Night Shift)

Location

  • City: New Haven, Connecticut

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift Details

  • Night shift, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
  • Average patient ratio: 1:3 (days, nights, weekends)
  • No call required
  • Floating required to PCU, other ICUs, and SRC campus as needed
  • Every other week (EOW) coverage

  • Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, with ICU experience within the last year
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
