Job Description

• Position: Speech Language Pathologist
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, full day
• Weekend Requirement: No
• On Call: No
• Setting: Outpatient adult rehab or adult inpatient rehab
• Patient Population: Experience with adult neurological patients required; Spanish speaking highly preferred due to high percentage of Spanish-speaking patients
• Work Environment: Must be able to work independently

Requirements

• Licensure: Valid Florida Speech Language Pathology license (must be valid for the entire assignment)
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) through the American Speech Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Additional Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Experience:

  • Experience with adult neurological patients (required)
  • Experience in outpatient adult or adult inpatient rehab settings (required)

Additional Information

• Candidates living within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties are not eligible to apply
• License and certifications must be current and valid for the duration of the assignment; renewals must be completed prior to start date if expiring
• Spanish language skills are highly preferred due to patient demographics
