Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must be comfortable with potential emergency team assignments, which may require staying at the facility during emergency events or participating in relief teams as assigned by the unit manager.
- Liver transplant experience is required (skill level 3 or 4 on skills checklist).
- May scrub into other surgeries as needed.
- No first-time travelers accepted.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Minimum 5 years of First Assist experience, including experience within the last year
- At least one completed travel assignment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Transplant experience
