Overview

• Travel/contract role in Portland, Oregon
• South PACU is a 38-bay Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
• Variable shifts; day/eve with possible night and/or call
• Shift times may include 0530, 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, and 1900
• Shift is expected to stay the same each week, if not for the whole contract
• The unit provides 24/7 perianesthesia care to adult patients and some pediatric patients
• Patients come from home, the emergency department, and the inpatient setting
• The unit supports nights, weekends, and holidays with call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Adult or Pediatric patients
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• Experience with Epic
• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Must complete background screening and related checks before start
• Must complete required employment application with at least 7 years of work history, including city and state for each position
• Must complete required skills checklist within 1 year of start
• Must complete required health and compliance items before start, including fit mask, TB screening, drug screening, and immunization/documentation requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred

Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
