Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Everett, Washington.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Weekends are required.
• Call is not required.
• Locals are not accepted.
• Guaranteed hours: clinician can be called off for 1 12-hour shift per 2-week period.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Post Partum experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• AWHONN or EFM
• RN license verification is required.

Assignment Details

• Based at the Pacific Campus, the Pavilion for Women and Children.
• High-risk perinatal care.
• Level III unit with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and 7-bay triage.
• Float required to Postpartum.
• Unit is staffed for 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2–3 in antepartum.
• Triage is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift.
• The facility is a Level II Trauma Center.
• Charting system: EPIC.
• Scrub color: any, except reddish orange is not permitted.
• Parking is facility paid.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries is ideal.
• Experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries may also be considered.
