Role
- Hybrid Registered Respiratory Therapist and ECMO Specialist role
- If no ECMO assignment is available, the role will backfill as a Respiratory Therapist
- Based in neonatal/pediatric respiratory critical care
Schedule
- Day or night shift, 3x12 hours
- Every third weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- RRT-NPS
- Experience with ECMO systems operation, including bedside pump management, circuit assembly, priming, and centrifugal pump operation
- Experience managing central mag pumps and responding to circuit clots
- Experience administering blood products and medications via ECMO circuit and drawing labs from circuit
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
