Job Overview

• Weekend schedule: Friday–Sunday
• Call: Discussed during interview
• Floating: Within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• State of Georgia license required for CRTs and RRTs
• Photo ID required
• Background check must be complete before start
• Education verification of related degree required
• Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually
• Verification of most recent employer required
• 2 clinical references required

Required Certifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Certification, if required for the specialty per unit guidance

Schedule Expectations

• Must work assigned major holidays if they fall during the assignment period
• RTO maximum: 7 days
• Full compliance is required to start on time

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Drug screen within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or documentation required
• Tdap is highly recommended but not required

Additional Notes

• Clinical screening is used to determine fit before manager review
• Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
