Job Overview

• Weekend/holiday rotation: Rotating weekends and holidays

• Floating: Strictly Microbiology; no floating between service lines

Required Qualifications

• Medical Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Medical Technologist experience within the last year
• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a relevant medical or scientific discipline
• Culture set up
• Gram stain preparation and reading
• Rapid PCR setup
• Plating and culture reading
• Identification and susceptibility testing
• Rapid molecular testing (BioFire Torch panels and Cepheid assays)
• Microbiology experience

Preferred Experience

• Micro and Beaker experience
• Culture reading, identification, and susceptibility testing

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Radius rule applies: 60 miles
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Proof of 2 clinical references is required
