Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
2 years of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Must pass EKG testing before start
Must be willing to float to like units

Unit Details

Mixed-acuity PCU and MS/Tele unit
Typical ratio: 1:4–5
Can increase to 1:6 in extreme situations
Every other weekend required
Block scheduling may be accommodated based on unit needs
24-hour orientation

Additional Notes

Scrubs are not provided; wear white or navy blue
EKG/dysrhythmia competency exam is required for this role
