RRT

Role Overview

• Travel/contract RRT position in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.

Unit / Setting

• Short-term acute care hospital.
• Level III Trauma Center / Teaching Hospital.
• 733 staffed beds.
• Charting system: Epic.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Military Training Network
• Must be comfortable working with adults and children in ICU.
• Must be comfortable working with Peds and adults.
• Days, weekends, and holidays required.
• Every other weekend required.
• Float as needed within scope to like units.
• No holiday RTO accepted.
• Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus.

• BLS
• PALS
• NRP
• National tech certification verification
• State license verification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam

Scheduling / Time Off

• Open to block scheduling: No.
• On-call required: No.
• Guaranteed hours apply after 2 call-off shifts per 13-week assignment.
• Only 4 days of RTO allowed.
• No holidays.
