Speech-Language Pathologist, Outpatient

Assignment Details

Location: Pasadena, California
Setting: Outpatient rehabilitation
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8s
Hours per week: 40
Contract length: 8 weeks

Patient Population

Neuro rehab patients, including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, and ALS
Voice patients
Dysphagia patients
Cognitive impairment patients
Outpatient rehab experience with neuro-rehabilitation patients, including TBI, SCI, and stroke, is preferred

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Language Pathology, or Communicative Disorders
Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California
BLS issued by American Heart Association
1 year of related practice experience working with neuro-rehabilitation patients including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's disease, and ALS
Experience working with neuro-rehabilitation patients including traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), and stroke
