Operating Room RN Travel Contract

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift
5x8 hours
6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
40 hours per week

Role Overview

Operating Room registered nurse
Must be proficient in main OR surgeries
Endovascular experience required
Call is required 1–2 shifts per week, including nights and weekends
2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule
Block scheduling requests are not accepted
Local candidates are not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Endovascular experience with proficiency in vascular skills (SKILLS CHECKLIST 3s and 4s)
Interventional Radiology experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Compliance Items

Background check
Drug screening
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit testing within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest x-ray documentation
Immunization/documentation requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus/diphtheria/TDAP, and flu season compliance
HIPAA competency
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
Competency exam specific to specialty
Orientation and facility acknowledgment documents
State license verification and NURSYS verification
Pass/fail testing may apply depending on unit assignment
CPI or MAB certification may be required depending on unit assignment
ENPC, PALS, NRP, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, and color blind testing may apply depending on unit assignment
