Location
- Morristown, New Jersey
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts, usually 7a–3p and/or 3p–11p
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
- Pharmacy Technician experience within the last year
- 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Previous oncology/infusion center experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
Key Responsibilities
- Fill medication orders accurately and promptly for pharmacist verification
- Prepare sterile IVs and other extemporaneous preparations
- Handle medication distribution, returns, and delivery to patient care areas
- Repackage oral medications and maintain inventory control
- Operate automated dispensing machines and resolve related issues
- Support workflow, teamwork, and performance improvement efforts
