Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: AM Shift, 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week
Call: Every 3rd weekend (Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM), with additional weekday call as needed
Response Time: Must be able to respond within 30 minutes of activation (out of hospital)


Job Description

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The candidate must be proficient in the following procedures and equipment:

  • Angioplasty
  • Percutaneous Intervention
  • Impella and IntraAortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
  • Atherectomy Devices/Technique (Rotablader)
  • Temporary Venous Pacemaker and Swan Ganz Catheter Placement
  • Scrubbing technique for procedures (encouraged)

Experience with Philips and Siemens Fluoroscopy Systems is a plus but not required.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
  • Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
  • Proficient in Angioplasty and Percutaneous Intervention (PCI)
  • Experience with Impella and IntraAortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
  • Skilled in Atherectomy devices/technique (Rotablader)
  • Experience with Temporary Venous Pacemaker and Swan Ganz Catheter Placement

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
  • The position requires the ability to work extended shifts and be available for weekend and weekday call.
  • The candidate must be able to respond quickly to emergency activations outside the hospital.
