Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 52 weeks)
Shift: Night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Unit: 37-bed Cardiac Telemetry
Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5 or 1:6; rare cases 1:7
Floating: Must be able to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Orthopedics units

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a cardiac telemetry floor.
Must be available to work the specified shifts from June 11 to June 12 (dates noted for initial scheduling).
Ability to adapt and float to other units as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Telemetry nursing experience of at least 1 year within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
