Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

36-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; Night: 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM)
Rotation based on unit needs; not guaranteed
Every other weekend and rotating holidays required
Labor and Delivery experience is required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
MGB Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
All license and certification verifications require primary source verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing
TB positive candidates must provide a negative chest x-ray dated after the positive test
Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years
Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
