Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician (CVOR CST)

Location: Pensacola, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description

Position requires Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience.
On-call requirement includes a monthly call schedule covering 5-6 nights including weekends.
Weekend requirement: Call only.
Holiday requirement: Work any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
Minimum of 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technologist experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Valid Driver's License.

Additional Information

Must complete all required onboarding modules and upload necessary documentation prior to clearance.
Photo ID badge with a forward-facing headshot on a white or blue background required.
Flu vaccine is optional; if declined during flu season, mask-wearing is required.
Positive TB test requires a negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire.
Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days.

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

This position is ideal for Certified Surgical Technicians with CVOR experience seeking a long-term assignment with a structured on-call and holiday schedule.
