Overview

Travel/Contract role in Escondido, California
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
No locals

Role Details

Float pool position
Floats to DOU/PCU, Med Surg, and Tele
Required to float between Escondido/Poway campus and each level of care based on need
Weekends required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Critical Care Float experience with 2 years of experience
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
1 year or more of total travel experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Skills Required

ICP monitoring
PA Catheters
Procedural Sedation

Preferred

Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
COVID vaccination

Other Requirements

Cerner EMR familiarity
2 references required within 3 years of hire, from a manager, supervisor, or charge RN
Employment application required
Skills checklist required and must be updated annually
