Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Portland, Oregon
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- Starts in November or December
- Must be available to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day
- Weekend work required
- First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience
- Local candidates accepted
- Pending Oregon license accepted if the application has been submitted and received by the licensing board
- Floating within the hospital is required
- No floating to sister hospitals
- No call
- No block schedule accommodation unless otherwise stated
- RTO limit: 1 week max
Unit / Setting
- 12A Neonatal ICU
- 46-bed level 4 NICU
- Patient population includes critically ill, convalescing, and growing premature and term newborns
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Experience with Epic

- The unit is a teaching environment with participation in student and pediatric resident education
- Charting system: EPIC
- Scrub color: no prints; scrubs provided for OR
- Parking cost: $16 daily
