Job Details

Travel/contract RN role in Santa Monica, California
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 18 weeks
Start date: ASAP
No on-call required
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
May float to postpartum
Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
First-time travelers are not accepted
Pending license is not accepted
RTO must be included at time of submission
Local candidates within 50 miles are considered local

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
FHM
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Information

4 antepartum rooms
9 labor/high-risk rooms
3 triage rooms
Supports fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries
May provide postpartum couplet care if needed

Additional Notes

Seasonal winter rate applies for eligible start dates
Canceling after signing due to a rate change results in a system DNR
Scrubs: navy blue for RNs; L&D/OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
