Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Olympia, Washington.
- Day shift: 4x12, 7:00–19:30.
- Start: ASAP.
- Float assignment covering patient needs across the institution.
- Patient population may include ER boarded patients, tele, and med surg.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit acuity.
- May include charge responsibilities on two very small units.
Required Qualifications
- US experience is required; Canadian experience alone will not qualify.
- Charge nurse experience is required.
- Active RN license required.
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs.
- BLS required.
- ACLS required.
- Washington State Patrol search required for Washington placements.
- Background check required.
- Education verification required.
- Employment application required.
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
- Skills checklist required for the applicable unit.
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask required for travel starts.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap required within 10 years.
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required.
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Drug Testing, Flu vaccination/documentation, COVID documentation, and RespSafety Clearance are required as applicable per source requirements.
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Charge roles
