Contract Length: 13 weeks

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
Intermediate Care experience
ACLS certification issued by American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or United States Department of Defense
BLS certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in a Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) setting
Prior experience in Charge Nurse roles

Ability to manage ICU patient flow and staffing ratios
Compliance with background checks including:
- 7-year criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG screenings
- Texas Employee Misconduct Registry
Health and Safety:
- Physical exam verifying ability to meet job demands
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Drug screening (9 or 10 panel depending on timing)
Documentation:
- Proof of I9 or attestation
- Government issued photo ID
- E-Verify proof or attestation
- Clinical references (2 required)
- Skills checklist updated annually
- Performance evaluations if applicable
Competency exams and medication/pharmacology testing as applicable

This is a travel/contract position with a 13-week duration.
First-time travelers are allowed.
The role requires strong ICU clinical skills and charge nurse leadership experience.
Weekend shifts are scheduled every other weekend.

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs looking for a travel contract in Texas with leadership responsibilities in a LTACH setting.
