Shift Details

• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM
• Standby required: 2 nights per week and 2 weekends in a 5-week period

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year, minimum 1 year
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of W4 on file
• 7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, county, state, federal, and national criminal and sex offender searches (no international background checks required)
• HHS/OIG clearance
• Primary source verification of California RN license within 30 days of start (visual verification with signature, initials, date, and title required)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months; annual TB questionnaire if history positive
• Tdap vaccination (no declinations accepted)
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity (2 vaccines or titer with boosters if needed; no declinations accepted)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
• 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start
• COVID-19 vaccination required or approved medical/religious exemption on file
• Flu vaccination or agency flu declination required year-round
• Proof of N95 fit test within 1 year prior to start (specific approved mask models required; no onsite testing available)
• Completion of facility-specific learning modules (approx. 8 hours) prior to start
• Signed Pyxis acknowledgment prior to start
• Completion and signing of facility standards of conduct and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements annually
• Two satisfactory professional references
• Employment application and skills checklist required

Experience with Electronic Health Records

• Minimum 6 months experience with EPIC or Cerner required; less than 6 months experience will result in auto-cancellation

Additional Notes

• No scrub color requirement; scrubs provided by facility
• Radiation badges supplied if working in Interventional Radiology or other units requiring it (not required for this role)
• Employee flu clinics available for free vaccination for badge holders
