Medical Surgical - Neuro

Overview

Unit Details

Neuro/Stroke/MS unit
Diagnoses include stroke, neurology, neurosurgery, trauma overflow, and MS overflow

Schedule and Assignment Notes

Will accept 3x12s or 4x12s
Every other weekend required
Block scheduling is at manager discretion
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates are not accepted
Floating is required within scope to MS and all hospital care areas for MS patients, including ICU and ED for MS holds
Requests for time off must be submitted with the application; additional requests after confirmation are at manager discretion

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Neurology experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

Navy blue scrubs
Onsite garage parking is available at no cost
