Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
One year or more of total travel experience
Experience working with Pediatric patients
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association or PEARS

Government-issued photo ID
E-Verify proof or attestation
Background check covering counties lived/worked in for the past 7 years, plus Missouri and Kansas statewide searches
Missouri Highway Patrol check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Pass/fail testing
Medication calculation/dosage test
Pediatric pharmacology competency exam
Pediatric competency exam
Color blindness testing
2 supervisory references or performance evaluations verified within 1 year of start
Complete application/resume

Health Requirements

Physical exam
Tdap within 10 years of start
TB screening
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B documentation, titer, or declination
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
Current season flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption

Work Environment

Pediatric ICU
Magnet teaching Level I trauma center with Level IV NICU
Any kid-friendly scrub color or pattern

Other Notes

Free parking with permit
EPIC is used for charting
