New graduates are acceptable if they have Level II experience; Level I observation experience is not sufficient

Screens, evaluates, and treats patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Develops and adjusts plans of care based on patient progress and outcomes
Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
Communicates patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans with the care team
Completes discharge summaries and required clinical documentation
Participates in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
May supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists
