Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical & Emergency Department

Location: Cheyenne Wells, Colorado
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Night shift position requiring floating between Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department units.
• Patient cases range from trauma related to nearby major highway incidents to elderly ailments.
• Facility is a critical access hospital located 2.5 hours from the nearest large hospital, providing a wide variety of illness and injury cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience; 2 years preferred.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS.
• Experience with EMR system (CPSI).
• Ability to float between Med Surg and ER units is mandatory.
