Registered Nurse - Radiology (Travel)

Location: Webster, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit Type: Interventional Radiology (IR) Labs (2 beds)
Staff: 4 RNs and 4 Techs on day shift; night shift is on-call
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: GE, Siemens
EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

Perform general Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures
Work primarily on day shift with on-call rotation for nights
On-call rotation: approximately 5 days per month plus 1 weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
Experience in Radiology and IR/Specials
Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Attributes

Prior experience in IR/Specials strongly preferred
Positive attitude and good teamwork skills

Dress Code

OR scrubs required

Additional Notes

Floating assignments not specified
Unit policies and guidelines to be provided upon hire
