Job Overview

• Location: Florence, Alabama
• Employment type: Travel

• Start timing: Must be able to start 7-10 days after offer acceptance
• Scheduling notes: Weekly orientation on Mondays; blocked scheduling available
• Float requirement: Postpartum

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• OB/GYN experience
• Post Partum experience
• BLS
• ACLS or ALS-OB
• NRP
• EFM

Clinical Experience

• Fetal monitoring and assessment
• Emergency response
• Postpartum care
• Time management

Unit Details

• Adult patient population
• 9-bed unit
• 1:1 patient ratio

Common Diagnoses / Cases

• Normal spontaneous labor
• Preterm labor
• Gestational hypertension
• Preeclampsia
• Placenta previa
• Placental abruption
• Fetal distress
• Umbilical cord prolapse
• Postpartum hemorrhage

Work Environment

• Adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication, and empathy are valued
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Non-compliant scrub colors, slogan/graphic scrubs, offensive content, and inappropriate footwear are not allowed
