Job Details

• Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse
• Location: Bigfork, Minnesota
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Dayshift (12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week)
• Units: Two units—Tamarack (20 beds) and Aspen Memory Care Unit (20 beds)
• Patient Population: Includes memory care patients; common diagnoses related to LTC and dementia care
• EMR System: Point Click Care
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Typically every other weekend; holidays required
• Scrub Color: Any scrub color allowed
• Physician Interaction: Daily rounding by 4-5 private practice physicians
• Floating: No floating between units
• Orientation: 3 shifts of floor-specific orientation for RN/LPN

Required Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license
• BLS Certification
• Dementia training required prior to start
• Must be flexible; assignments may change during shifts
• Ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented culture

Staffing Ratios & Support

• Days: One RN or LPN per unit
• Nights: One RN or LPN covering both units
• CNA support varies by shift and unit

Additional Notes

• First-time travel nurses are welcome
• Weekend rotation and holiday work expected
• Building a culture of teamwork is a priority
