Job Summary
- Overall management and coordination of Health Services including Home Health, Assisted Living Center, Supportive Living Center, and Short-Term Rehabilitation Center.
- Support delivery of medical care and services aligned with organizational philosophy, mission, values, and goals.
- Oversee clinical nursing practice and manage evidence-based programs, systems, and services.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate policies, programs, and services including nursing workload, budget planning, and workforce management.
- Participate in environmental assessment, trend forecasting, communication, mentoring, and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with residents, families, and visitors to enhance care experience.
- Lead or participate in committees essential to Health Services operations.
- Oversee care for both Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) on campus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all Health Services functions across multiple care units.
- Lead annual budget and workforce planning initiatives.
- Drive recruitment and retention strategies for healthcare staff.
- Assess care environments and forecast healthcare trends for continuous improvement.
- Communicate organizational values and mentor healthcare staff.
- Manage resources efficiently to support operational excellence.
Schedule
- Full-time, regular business hours (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week).
- May require limited overtime or after-hours work based on resident events in a 24/7 environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Experience in management roles
- Home Health experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care, acute care nursing, or senior living.
- Experience working in Minnesota.
- Nursing Home Administrator or Assisted Living license, or willingness to pursue within one year.
- Gerontological Certification.
