Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
Unit Overview
- Emergency department
- Level 3 trauma center
- 25 beds, 3 triage rooms, and 3 trauma bays
- Average daily volume: 109 patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 2 or more completed travel assignments at different locations
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- 1 year of ER experience
- Triage experience
- Ability to titrate all critical drips and procedural sedation for adults and pediatrics
- Understanding of drips requiring filter tubing and management of blood products/components via rapid infuser
- Trauma experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC certification
- Trauma bay experience
- Epic experience
Scheduling and Work Expectations
- Every other weekend
- May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
- May be asked to take call
- Floating is not required, but may be asked to float for tasking if needed
- Navy blue scrubs
Orientation
- 1-2 days with a preceptor
