Job Overview
- Location: Jacksonville, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Schedule notes: Weekends required; block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated; must be willing to float if needed
- Local candidate restriction: No locals within a 50-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP
- CPI
Additional Notes
- RTO must be included at submission to be honored at offer
- Meditech experience is preferred
- The unit has 10 beds
- Patient ratios vary by stage of labor, from 1:1 to 1:4
- Responsibilities include direct obstetrical care, assessment, medication administration, carrying out provider orders, evaluating response to care, documenting care, and communicating with the care team
