Occupational Therapist - Home Health (Travel/Contract)

Location: Marysville, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Plan and conduct treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions.
• Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
• Complete evaluations, develop individualized treatment and discharge plans, and provide therapy interventions.
• Supervise assigned assistants.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely clinical documentation.

Work Schedule

• Day shift, Monday to Friday
• 8 hours per day (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy
• Driver's License

Experience

• Background check covering the last 7 years, including social security trace, county/state/federal court jurisdictions, and various federal watchlists.

• Immunizations or proof of immunity (titer) or declinations for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)

  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific exemption/declination during flu season (Oct 31 - Apr 30), with mask requirements for unvaccinated candidates.
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.

Certifications & Competencies

• CPR/BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Additional certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM) — verify with recruiter if applicable.
• Completion of competency exams through approved vendors (Relias) as required.

Additional Requirements
