- Rotating schedule
- Every other weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Stepdown experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- DOU - Direct Observation Unit experience
- Intermediate Care experience
Unit / Patient Care Setting
- Neuro telemetry / stroke-neuro-trauma step-down unit
- Typical patient assignment is 1:4, with higher ratios possible depending on resources
- Patient population includes stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, general med/surg, and IMC/step-down level of care
Procedures / Skills
- Lumbar drains
- Stroke education

- Navy blue scrubs
- Fit testing requires the traveler to shave for mask seal
- CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and personal CAPRs/PAPRs are not allowed to be used on site
