Job Description

  • Years of Experience Required: 5 years hospital case management (highest requirement)
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Tennessee
  • Minimum 5 years hospital case management experience
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is required
  • Certifications: Not specifically required but ACLS, BLS, and other certifications may be relevant depending on unit
  • Compliance with facility-specific credentialing and background checks

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Proof of I9 or Attestation
  • Government-issued photo ID carried during hours of service
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, and federal exclusions (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
  • Education verification of highest degree earned
  • Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen with alcohol test within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Immunizations and health documents:
    • TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria) required; declination form if declined
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months or appropriate PPD testing
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella titers or vaccinations
    • Hepatitis B series or positive titer (declinations accepted only under specific circumstances)
    • Varicella immunity (vaccines, titer, or history)
    • Flu vaccine required during flu season or approved exemption (masking required if exempt)
    • Hepatitis A required for certain departments (not specified for this role)
  • Physical exam within last 12 months (not required annually)
  • Fit testing for respiratory protection
  • Photo for badge (recent, plain background, shoulders up, no filters)
  • References: 2 professional references within 2 years for travel positions
  • Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
