PCU/Stepdown RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Bridgeton, Missouri
• Night shift: 3x12, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Every other weekend required
• 1st time traveler accepted
• Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic
• Must work 4 of these 8 dates: Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, 12/26, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day
• Must shave for mask fit testing

• Drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season

• COVID vaccine collection is preferred if already received

• CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and travelers may not use their own CAPRs or PAPRs at the facility
• Fit testing is done onsite during the first week of orientation
