Overview

Travel/contract role in Dayton, Ohio
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:30–17:30
13-week contract
Call required: once weekly, every 4th weekend, and potential one holiday on call
Fast-paced, high-acuity cath lab with 2 EP labs and 5 cath labs
About 20 patients per day across all labs
Performs advanced cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures
Provides peri-procedural care and education, assists cardiologists and other specialists, and maintains procedure records

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Cardiac Cath Lab experience greater than 1 year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Current resume/application
2 references from within 2 years of start, with 1 from a Manager, Supervisor, or Charge RN
Skills checklist within 1 year prior to documentation due date and updated annually
Current physical exam within 2 years of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Drug screen within 12 months prior to documentation due date
Annual health questionnaire
Candidate agreement
Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year of start
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam within 2 years of start
Unit-specific competency exam within 2 years prior to start
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 1 year of start
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
