Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment

Schedule / Assignment Details

• Call required: 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weekdays per week
• Weekend coverage is included in call requirements
• Floating may occur within facility scope of practice and to another hospital as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off
• Must work major holidays as assigned based on the number of holidays in the assignment period
• Locals are accepted

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• Full compliance is required to start on time
• Clinical screening is case-by-case before manager review
• Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length
• Physical exam required by Aya
• TB questionnaire required for all candidates
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 12 months of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation or declination requirements apply
• Color blind testing required
• Competency exam required by Aya
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required
• Work history verification required

Certifications

• BLS required if applicable to the specialty
• ACLS required if applicable to the specialty
