Telemetry Nurse Job

Overview

• Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Float requirement: May float to the ED for boarder patients as needed
• Note: Travelers should be mindful of summer RTO on the unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• Previous Epic experience

• Accepts first-time travelers

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Valid photo ID
• Massachusetts statewide iCORI release authorization
• Background check
• Education verification
• Drug test
• Physical exam with statement of fitness to work without restrictions
• TB screening or chest X-ray documentation
• Immunization or declination documentation for required vaccines
• 2 references within 3 years of start
• Employment application covering 7 years of work history, including explanation of gaps greater than 30 days
• Skills checklist
• Required pass/fail testing for medication and telemetry, with a minimum score of 80% on the first day of orientation
